This blog is a nod to the newest kind of teachers who are entering school as educators: Millennials.  Millennials are generally born after 1980.  Some call us "Generation Y."  We are different from Generation X due to the technology boom of the 1990s.  Our childhoods were vastly different form former generations as a direct result of both the dot-com boom and the dot-com bust.

This blog is my perspective on teaching as a Millennial: all things Millennial and teaching students who may or may not be Millennials too.

I have been teaching since 2006 and have found a passion for preparing students for college and career pathways.  Educational technology is my tool to spur readiness and engagement.
